SUMMARY:MET workshop - building toy chests to give to kids at the Show
DESCRIPTION:This is a workshop meeting devoted to the “Kids’ Gifts”. Children 12 and under are not charged admission to attend our show & sale in October\, and in addition\, we give each one a free gift\, made by club members (while supplies last). \nThis year Martha McLean designed\, and generously cut about a hundred toy box kits. They are easy to assemble\, and can be decorated however you want. The finished box is 2” wide\, 1 1/8” deep and 1 3/16” high. \nPlease bring: \n\n sandpaper\n glue\n whatever you want for finishing / decorating – stain\, paint\, paper\, fabric\, stickers…. Nothing toxic smelling in the workshop though (e.g. certain stains).\n and for the five of you that have a kit already\, your finished sample.\n\n \n
